The 2026 GoPro Mountain Games were held from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Vail, Colorado.
Tens of thousands of event goers converged on the Eagle County town over the four-day festival to participate in or watch others compete in mountain-lifestyle games and events. Some activities included highline performances over Gore Creek at International Bridge in Vail Village, mountain bike racing on Vail Mountain, Speed Climbing in the Golden Peak Village, whitewater events, free concerts and more.
This year’s Games was the 24th annual year Vail has held the popular event in Eagle County. The event was projected to have hosted 100,000 eventgoers over the four days with 5,500 people participating in an athletic event.
